Legal Secretary at Ready Law | Community Advocate | Dance Leader Mandy May is a proud New Orleanian whose heart beats in rhythm with the soul of the city she calls home. Inspired by the energy, resilience, and creativity of New Orleans—and by other dynamic dance teams—Mandy founded the NOLA Bombshells nearly a decade ago to empower women, celebrate individuality, and bring people together through movement and purpose. With a background rooted in cheerleading and early dance training at Cindy Ory, Mandy has continued her journey by working alongside seasoned choreographers, participating in workshops, and even speaking publicly about the power of art, outreach, and community. By day, Mandy works as a dedicated legal secretary at Ready Law. By passion, she leads a team of fierce, fun, and fearless women who take to the streets during parades and events to uplift and entertain—bringing joy to thousands. Whether it’s dancing during Mardi Gras or organizing performances, she believes there’s no place in the world with the magic and rhythm of New Orleans. Beyond the stage, Mandy is deeply committed to service. She partners with over a dozen nonprofit organizations each year and works tirelessly to improve the lives of women and children across the region. To her, NOLA Bombshells is more than just a dance team—it’s a sisterhood, a movement, and a reflection of the heartbeat of a city that thrives on connection, culture, and community.
